Structure, Control Burn

This permit applies to standing structures (dilapidated buildings) that the owner wants demolished through burning. The owner must apply through the Fire Marshal's Office for permission to have the building burnt. The Fire Marshal's Office will then varify that the building in question is owned by the person applying for the burn and then a permit is given to the local Fire Department to carry out the Control Burn.

The local fire department must approve the "Control Burn" in order for the permit to be valid.
