Information Seminars

Prince Edward Island’s Employment Standards Branch staff provides information to assist everyone in the workplace to better understand employer/employee rights and obligations under the Employment Standards Act and Regulations. We are available to make presentations to employers and/or employees as well as organizations and/or working groups either at your location or in our office. The Employment Standards Branch of the Department of Environment, Labour and Justice will be conducting information seminars on the Prince Edward Island Employment Standards Act. These seminars will be beneficial to both employers and employees and are free of charge to all attendees. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED and can be done by calling 902-368-5550 or 1-800-333-4362 or by email to hawalsh@gov.pe.ca

Wednesday, June 19th, 2013 at 1:30 pm (Pre-Registration Deadline - June 12th, 2013)

A variety of topics will be covered including Vacation Pay, Statutory Holidays, Special Leaves, Notice of Termination, Wage Recovery, Overtime, Reporting Pay and other areas of concern.
