Land and Local Governance

The Municipal Affairs and Provincial Planning Division has been assigned lead responsibility for implementing the report of the Commission on Land and Local Governance, which was made public in January 2010. The Division will coordinate internal government efforts in this regard and is responsible for developing and implementing a work plan and public engagement strategy for the 40 recommendations contained in the Commission’s report.
