The new Government of Prince Edward Island website is designed to better serve residents and businesses by making it easier to search and find information in English or French from any device, anywhere, any timeĖall the time.

Public consultation extended for new energy strategy

It is important that PEI implements energy policies that focus on sustainability, including approaches to energy efficiency and conservation, renewable and alternative energy and economic development.

Public input will help shape a new energy strategy for PEI. Public consultation has been extended to include a second draft strategy expected to be released by the week of June 20 and a follow-up public meeting in Charlottetown on June 29.

At the largest folk festival Down Under in March, a guitar-toting troubadour, Irish Mythen sang Prince Edward Islandís praises. Her music struck a chord for a local couple and inspired them to make Prince Edward Island their next travel destination.

Best of Sea

The Prince Edward Island Best of Sea restaurant promotion and culinary competition is now underway.

That's Island Style
Island food product
Island products including oysters, lobster, mussels, potatoes and beef are PEI products showcased in the 'That's Island Style' campaign.

'Thatís Island Style' is a campaign that celebrates Island culture with PEI food and drink products. This spring and summer, local producers will take part in grocery and liquor store promotions across the province. Recipes have been developed that showcase Island products. All meals include drink pairing suggestions and drink recipes.
