Governor George Dundas, 1860
 
June 4, 1862 "...Sent for by Governor to help him with his photographing.." Government House, the Governor George Dundas, his wife Mary, and their guests were frequent subjects for Henry Cundall, the photographer. Several views of these subjects appear in the Bayfield or DuVernet Album. Some of the earliest photographs taken by Cundall, as recorded in his dairies, are of Government House. July 20, 1859 "AM went to Government grounds assisting Munroe taking photograph of house &c." Oct. 25, 1860 "Went to Gov''t house @ 10 1/2 am, with photg apparatus accompanied by Mr. DeBlois. Took view of Gov''t House and several of Mr & Mrs D & of Lady Fane, Mrs. Clifford, Lieut. Rowan and Mrs. Thompson."
