Few places in Prince Edward Island are more Canadian then Province House. The site of the 1864 Charlottetown Conference that would lay the groundwork for Confederation in 1867, Province House holds a place of historic significance for all Canadians. Province House has served as home to the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island since 1847 and continues to be a hub of political activity in the province. This national landmark is currently undergoing extensive renovations to ensure its preservation for Islanders, Canadians, and visitors long into the future.

This February we invite you to explore Images of Historic Province House as part of Heritage Week 2017: My Canada!
