| Robert Oulton (1835-1920), one of the founders of the Prince Edward Island fox farming industry, realized that foxes were best raised in an environment that resembled their natural surroundings. Upon this discovery, many fox ranches including Mr. H.T. Holman''s ranch, shown here, were established in wooded areas.
