This view of Murray Harbour in 1906 includes Albert Prowse's house, Prowse's store on the right and the two masted schooner Francis D. Cook in the centre of the image. Samuel Prowse had been in business for 20 years when son Albert Perkins Prowse joined the company on January 1, 1880 to form Prowse and Son. They were later joined by Albert's brother, William H. The Prowse family were active politically, were merchants, and dealers and exporters of fish, lobsters and produce. The Francis D. Cook was built in 1906, by Thomas L. Cook at Murray River for Reuben and Herbert Cahoon.
