Scope and content
The series consists of the account books of both the Vice-Chancellor's Court and the Rolls Court. They list monies received and paid out by the Court in individual cases in accordance with the decision of the Court. These include plaintiff and defendant costs, lawyer's fees, monies paid to the judges, revenue from the sale of lands, doctors' fees, commissions of executors, maintenance payments to guardians of infants and those of unsound mind, etc. The volumes are indexed by case name and the case number may also be given. They are arranged in two sequences, one for the Vice Chancellor's Court and one for the Rolls Court.
