This subseries consists of volumes of cash books which contain a daily recording of payments received by the Provincial Treasurer whether by individual, institution, or category of payment such as licenses, fines, debentures, etc. The facing page contains a record of amounts paid out of the Treasury towards warrants and interest, small disbursements and some individuals. Also included in this sub-series are four miscellaneous cash books: volumes 26 and 27 are Credit books while volumes 28 and 29 are Cash books balanced daily. These latter volumes are in a slightly different format but contain similar information as the other volumes.
