Scope and content

The series consists of genealogical material created and gathered by Ross Graves for his book William Schurman, Loyalist, of Bedeque, Prince Edward Island, and his Descendants (H. B. Schurman, 1973). Records include genealogy charts, correspondence, and research notes. The majority of the files relate to the Schurman family but there are also two files related to “Allied families” and information about the Baker and Callbeck families. The series also includes a postcard of the “M. V. Lord Selkirk” and a photograph of Thomas Ebenezer Roper.
