Harold Macleod and his wife Tilly reside in Little Sands, Prince Edward Island.

Scope and content

The collection consists of MacLeod family genealogy collected by Harold MacLeod while researching and writing his book entitled the "MacLeods of Prince Edward Island" which was published in Charlottetown, PEI in 1986. The collection also contains genealogical information on Compton, Hume, MacPherson, MacLauchlan, MacKenzie, and MacDonald families, and their connection to various MacLeod families on PEI. A register of the burial grounds in Uig, PEI, a Matheson Clan Newsletter for 1989, as well as the correspondence undertaken by Harold MacLeod while researching his book are also contained in the collection. The majority of the files have MacLeod families orgainzed according to the Lot in which they lived.
