Marion Harris, of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, was for several years the secretary of the Elmira School.

Scope and content

The collection consists of five teachers' class books from Elmira School, 1956-1961, a ledger from the "Black Bush Factory", 1890-ca. 1935, 2 mathematics and one history textbook used in Island schools, volumes 2 and 3 of "The Eastern Graphic magazine", "Souris, 1910-1980; a profile of the town", and "The Royal visit; an Atlantic Canada album".
