Scope and content
Series consists of 10 volumes of scrapbooks kept by Lillian Duchemin. Largely maintained in chronological order, the scrapbooks contain such personal mementos as invitations, calling, business and dance cards, photographs, newspaper clippings of social, current and sporting events. The scrapbooks also include numerous theatre and concert programs, greeting cards and vacation souvenirs. Also contained in the scrapbooks are newspaper clippings, etc. regarding some of the organizations Duchemin was involved in through executive offices, or personal interest. These include: Community Concert Association, C.G.I.T., Charlottetown Business and Professional Women's Club, Charlottetown Tennis Club, Rebekah Lodge, Gyro Club, Girl Guides of Canada, Little Theatre Guild, Charlottetown Curling Club, etc. One scrapbook is dedicated primarily to the Canadian Association for the Mentally Retarded.
