History

Wesley Stewart Turner was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1901. Between 1911 and 1916, Wesley and his parents, George W. Turner (1865-1949) and Christina C. Stewart (1870-1934), moved to Dundas, Prince Edward Island, the birthplace of Wesley's father. Wesley attended Upton School and helped his father on the family's farm. Wesley was also a member of the Independent Order of Young Canadians (I.O.Y.C.). On 12 May 1920, Wesley and his family left PEI to returned to Boston, where he lived the remainder of his life. Wesley S. Turner died in 1986.
