The Victoria Toboggan Club was established in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, before 1886. The organization was administered by an executive consisting of a president, vice-president, and a board of 5 directors who were elected annually. These officers had sole control over the management of the slide. Membership in the club included individuals from prominent Charlottetown families such as the Palmers, Warburtons, Longworths, Popes, Haszards, and the Rogers.
