M. Marion Macdonald Watts was born in Georgetown, Prince Edward Island on 2 July 1882 to Archibald J. Macdonald (1834-1917) and Marion Murphy (1847-1921). On 10 January 1924, she married Henry Fowler Ransord Watts (29 November 1869 - 15 April 1957) in Saint John, New Brunswick. The couple had one child, John Ransford Watts. Marion Macdonald Watts died 31 July 1975 in Georgetown.
