Munns Road (Sta.) was adopted in Place Names of PEI, 1925. Munns Road (NOT Munn Road)(Sett.) was confirmed 7 January 1947 on 11L/8 at 46 26 - 62 05.Status changed to Locality in 1960 Gazetteer.Application altered 22 November 1966 on 11L/8 to 46 25 - 62 05.Status confirmed as Locality when Munns Road became part of the Community of Eastern Kings in 1974. After a family of early Scottish settlers.- PN of PEI, 1925.
