North Lake (Sett.) was adopted in Place Names of PEI, 1925.Confirmed 7 January 1947 on 11L/8.Status changed to Locality in 1960 Gazetteer.Status confirmed as a Locality when North Lake became part of the Community of Eastern Kings in 1974.
