The official history of the geographic name Grand Tracadie (which can be somewhat technical, we admit):
The Community of Grand Tracadie was incorporated in 1984. Contains the Localities of Corran Ban and Grand Tracadie, and part of the Locality of Dalvay by the Sea.(The other part is in the Community of North Shore.)
