Sta.) was adopted in Place Names of PEI, 1925.Status changed to Sett. 25 April 1946 on 11L/2.Status changed to Station in 1960 Gazetteer; coordinates at 46 11 - 62 38.Status changed to D.R. Comm. in 1973 Gazetteer with coordinates at 46 11 - 62 39.Status changed to Locality when it became part of the Community of Brudenell in 1973. See Cardigan origin.
