Brackley (Sta.) was adopted in Place Names of PEI, 1925.Confirmed 12 December 1939 on 11L/6 at 46 18 - 63 09.Status changed to Locality and application altered (thereby rescinding Thorndyke) 18 November 1966 on 11L/6b to 46 19 - 63 09.Status confirmed as Locality when Brackley became part of the Community of Brackley in 1983.
