Premier Robert Ghiz and Minister Gail Shea were join by John Horrelt, President of the PEI Division of the Canadian Mental Health Association, to announce an over $200,000 investment in recreational infrastructure projects for eastern and central Prince Edward Island. Projects receiving funding include new playground equipment in New Haven-Riverdale, improvements to the Alberton Community Centre, community recreation upgrades in Borden-Carleton, and the installation of energy efficient equipment at the South Shore Actiplex in Crapaud.
