The initiative to expand broadband services throughout Prince Edward Island has reached a milestone. The $8.2 project has reached its halfway mark, and will be completed by the end of the year. The milestone was celebrated on Monday during a news conference at Roma at Three Rivers, which has recently been added to the service. Taking part in the announcement were, (l-r) Bruce Howatt, Vice-President, Bell Aliant, Healther Tulk, Senior Vice-President, Customer Solutions, Bell Aliant, Minister of Fisheries, Aquaculture and Rural Development Neil LeClair and Premier Robert Ghiz.
