| Responsibilities |
The Prince Edward Island Protocol Office provides a variety of services to the Provincial Government as well as the community at large. The Protocol Office:
- plans, coordinates and conducts visit programs for dignitaries and senior international officials coming to Prince Edward Island;
- provides planning advice and assistance, coordinates and may participate in government ceremonial events;
- maintains and advises on the Table of Precedence for Prince Edward Island;
- provides information and counsel to Government, community organizations, the private sector and individuals about matters of protocol and precedence for certain occasions or special events.
