Retiree and External Mentor Information

A successful mentoring program will result in a continued demand for mentors. To help meet this need, the Government Mentor Program is seeking retired government employees and external persons interested in sharing their unique experiences, knowledge and skills.

People who retired have much to offer this program, and can continue to play a meaningful and helpful role by helping others grow in their position, find satisfaction in their work and achieve career aspirations.

Mentoring may be short or long term in duration, but usually only involving one or two hours per month in time. Monthly meetings can take place face-to-face, by phone or by email.

If you establish a relationship with an external mentor please print of the mentor signup sheet to go over with your mentor. Have your mentor complete the sheet and mail it to the Public Service Commission. (PO Box 2000, Charlottetown, PEI, C1A 7N8 Attention: Diane Cutcliffe)
