The PSC is helping employees upgrade their skills and education to grow their careers. In 2014, in-house subject matter experts provided 50 sessions covering 18 different topics about working in government.
Programs were offered to 42 new managers/supervisors and 40 experienced managers in ten different government departments. More than 500 employees took courses in things like labor relations, conversational French, First Aid & CPR.
In 2015, the PSC will be providing several new sessions within the civil service and some outside organizations. We will be sending monthly updates on “Learning and You” to keep you in the loop.
The Public Service Commission is continuing with its commitment to support employees in learning for career growth.
