No procedure, rule, regulation, standard or any other provision contained in this web site limits an individual’s rights and responsibilities under the Province of Prince Edward Island (PEI) Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations (hereinafter referred to as the Act) or other applicable legislation.  As well, such provisions do not change, vary or invalidate the terms of the collective agreement between the Union of Public Sector Employees and the Government of the Province of Prince Edward Island.

The recipient of the 2012 Douglas MacMaster Memorial Occupational Health and Safety Award is Glenda Pollard, Chief Technologist of the Transfusion Services Department in the QEH Department of Laboratory Medicine.
