Carol Anne Duffy

Carol Anne Duffy was appointed as the Deputy Minister, Community Services and Seniors on November 15, 2011 after serving since July 11, 2000 as the Chief Executive Officer for the Workers Compensation Board of P.E.I. Previous to that, Ms. Duffy had a reputable career in health care and administration, most notably as Deputy Minister of Health and Social Services. Ms. Duffy is a graduate of the P.E.I. School of Nursing and has a degree in Business Administration from the University of Prince Edward Island. In addition to her responsibilities for WCB operations, Carol Anne served on a number of committees with the Association of Workers Compensation Boards of Canada and the International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions.
