Accuracy

Personal information will be as accurate, complete and up-to-date as necessary for the purposes for which all staff, programs, services and facilities administered by the Department use it.

Personal information in the custody or care and control of the Department will be modified only when necessary to ensure accuracy and completeness sufficient to fulfil the purposes for which the information was collected.

The Department will make every effort to ensure that personal information disclosed to third parties is accurate, complete and up-to-date for the purposes specified.
