Affordable Housing Projects Queens County and Kings County
Abe Zakem House
Abe Zakem House, constructed with the help of developer The Kiwanis Club Of Charlottetown Inc, is located at 211 Water Street and 226 King Street in Charlottetown. Intended for low to moderate income individuals and families, it features 22 units.
BM Housing
Developer BM Housing constructed a 12-unit complex at 312 University Avenue in Charlottetown for low to moderate income families. Each unit has two bedrooms.
HR Holdings Inc.
Developer HR Holdings Inc. used the services of the Canada-Prince Edward Island Affordable Housing Program Agreement to oversee the development of four units in Hunter River for persons with physical disabilities.
Judson Holdings Inc.
Three units were constructed at 245 University Avenue in Charlottetown for low to moderate income families with help from developer Judson Holdings Ltd.
Kings Square Affordable Housing
Kings Square Affordable Housing used the services of the Affordable Housing Program to develop 20 units at 67 Kensington Road in Charlottetown for low to moderate income families.
Life Bridge Inc.
Developer Life Bridge Inc. had 12 one-bedroom units constructed at 180 Beach Grove Road in Charlottetown. The units are intended for people with intellectual disabilities.
MacIntyre House
Developer Souris Group Home Association worked with the provincial government to construct seven units at 19 Church Street in Souris for people with intellectual disabilities.
Norwood Road Development
Twelve units were constructed for low to moderate income families at 321 and 325 Norwood Road in Charlottetown. The units are intended for low to moderate income families and McQuaid Construction Ltd. served as developer.
PRM Holdings Ltd.
PRM Holdings Ltd. used the services of the Canada-Prince Edward Island Affordable Housing Program Agreement to oversee the development of eight two-bedroom units at 49 Burns Avenue in Charlottetown. Low to moderate income families reside in the units.
Queens Co. Residential Services
Through the Affordable Housing Program, QCRS oversaw the construction of five units for persons with intellectual disabilities at 103 Pioneer Avenue in Charlottetown.
Villa Marguerite
Fifteen units were constructed through the Affordable Housing Program, in association with developer Harbourview Enterprises. The seniors assisted living units are located at Church Hill Avenue in North Rustico.
