  • Less frequently granted are leases for commercial operations. Expect to pay 10 per cent of the assessed value for taxes as an annual rental and provide up to $2 million in general liability insurance coverage with the Government of Prince Edward Island named as a co-insured depending on the operation. Terms of commercial leases are generally set at 5 years renewable.
