Canadian Council of Motor Transport Administrators (CCMTA)
It is a non-profit organization comprised of representatives of the provincial, territorial and federal government of Canada that through the collective consultative process, makes decisions on administration and operational matters dealing with licensing, registration and control of motor vehicle transportation and highway safety. It also includes associate members from the private sector. The council is supported by a small secretariat.
American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA)
It is an association of professional administrators of Canadian and US jurisdictions dedicated to the administration and enforcement of motor vehicle, driver and road safety laws and regulations.
Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance Program
The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance is an association of American states, Canadian provinces, territories, and Mexico. This association is responsible for administration and enforcement of motor carrier safety, primarily, from on-road enforcement, providing uniformity, compatibility, and reciprocity of inspections.
