The Public Works and Planning Division is responsible for assessment and analysis of long term transportation requirements within the Province, combined with the planning and implementation of major projects required to meet the initiatives of various Government Departments, Agencies and Corporations. In addition the Division is responsible for the planning, design and construction associated with building construction projects, including major repair and renovation, for Department building facilities required by Department clients. This division is also responsible for building maintenance and accommodations.
