1868 A three-man Congressional delegation headed by the notorious General Benjamin "Beast" Butler departs the Island endorsing the idea of free trade between Prince Edward Island and the U.S. Congress isn't interested.

Dispose of sharps (needles, syringes, lancets and EpiPens) safely by using an approved Needle Disposal Container, available free of charge at Island pharmacies. When full, these containers may be returned to pharmacies for disposal, at no charge. Do not place sharps into carts or blue bags.

The Sussex is a general purpose poultry breed used for producing both meat or eggs. The average weight is from 6 - 9 pounds. The Sussex hens lay brown eggs and take good care of their young.
