 Today in Island History

On March 18 in Island history...

1913 The Island's first Egg Circle is organized in Brooklyn, Lot 61, to co-operate in the production and marketing of eggs and poultry. Eleven more will organize before the P.E.I. Co-operative Egg and Poultry Association is incorporated in 1914. The "egg wagon" soon becomes a common sight in many communities.
