1850 The brig Fanny, carrying 43 eager Island gold-seekers, arrives in San Francisco. Their departure seized the imagination of the whole colony. But there will be no fortunes for the Fanny's prospectors in the gold fields.

Dispose of sharps (needles, syringes, lancets and EpiPens) safely by using an approved Needle Disposal Container, available free of charge at Island pharmacies. When full, these containers may be returned to pharmacies for disposal, at no charge. Do not place sharps into carts or blue bags.
