Bill & Mary Kendrick Experience PEI (Brian Andrews)
Experience a day in a life of a standard bred horse breeder. Learn all about the breeding business, genetics, feed, training and harness racing. Possibly witness a foal being born. Brian will take you to the barns and the paddocks where you'll be introduced to his yearlings, mares and stallions. Try your hand at the reins; take a leisurely trot around Brian’s private half mile track on a Meridian Farm Sulky. Pick & Press (Apple Picking/Cider Making)
Bill and Mary Kendrick Experience PEI (Mark Ashley)
Pick your own apples at the Wintermoor Orchard with Mark Ashley. Hear how the Wintermoor Orchard got its name and the reason why Mark is so passionate about growing apples, pears, cherries and plums. Once the picking is done you will bring your apples to the cider plant where you will wash and run your apples through the pulp machine then create your own cider by putting the pulp into the cider press. Share in some hot mulled cider & warm apple dumplings. You'll leave with a jug of cider and a 3 lbs bag of apples 1-866-887-3238

Piping Plover Patrol
Bill & Mary Kendrick Experience PEI (Linda Thomas)
Play a role in saving Piping Plover birds by learning more about them and their plight .You can help Linda Thomas, Parks Canada’s Piping Plover specialist, to save the piping plovers in the Prince Edward Island National Park. You will help monitor nesting areas, checking to make sure the birds are safe and collecting information that will be used in the ongoing recovery effort. You'll join Linda at the Dalvay Operations Centre for a behind-the-scenes look at the scope of work being done in protection, conservation and monitoring. 1-866-887-3238
