Prince Edward Island Attorney General Janice Sherry has granted approval for two separate inquests to be held in the upcoming months. The inquests were recommended to the Attorney General by Chief Coroner Dr. Charles Trainor.

An inquest will be held for the death of Sherry Ball of Charlottetown, aged 47. The death occurred on December 1, 2013.

An inquest will be held for the deaths of Nash Campbell, aged 4, and Patricia Hennessey of Stratford, aged 37. The deaths occurred on June 21, 2013.

An inquest is an official inquiry into an unexplained, sudden or violent death that is recommended by the Chief Coroner if questions remain about how the death occurred or if some aspects need to be made public.

The dates and locations will be announced at a later date.
