New 10 year agreement signed on the Atlantic Veterinary College

Today at the meeting of the Council of Atlantic Premiers (CAP), all four Atlantic Premiers signed a new 10 year agreement on the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC), securing the continued operation of this world-renowned institution into the next decade, says Premier Ghiz.
“The AVC plays an important role in the education and research of veterinary medicine,” said Premier Ghiz. “This new 10 year agreement will create more consistent and stabilized funding for the AVC, and it demonstrates continued collaboration among the Atlantic Provinces.”
The AVC is one of only five vet colleges in Canada, and the only institution educating doctors of veterinary medicine in Atlantic Canada. The AVC is committed to excellence in innovation in teaching, research and service to the entire Atlantic region.
