The provincial Cabinet today met in Kings County where it hosted a community reception to recognize the contributions of two local organizations.

Premier Wade MacLauchlan presented the Kings Playhouse and the Rotary Club of Montague with certificates of appreciation recognizing the meaningful work they have achieved in their local communities. The reception was held in Montague. Residents had the opportunity during the reception to meet with Ministers. Prior to the reception, Cabinet held its regular weekly meeting in Georgetown.

“Meeting with Islanders in their communities gives Cabinet a greater understanding of the issues that are important to residents and an opportunity to recognize their contributions to our province,” said the Premier.

This was the third Cabinet tour since the end of the legislative sitting this summer. Previously Cabinet met in Summerside and in New London.
