The J. Frank Gaudet Tree Nursery on the Upton Road in West Royalty will be hosting an Open House on May 11 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. There will be tours, exhibits, demonstrations, refreshments, prizes and special seedling giveaways. This is the largest tree nursery on the Island, and visitors can see the three million seedlings being produced every year for the conservation and improvement of forests, woodlands, fields, waterways, ecosystem, as well as the benefits to the provincial economy. Forestry staff will be on hand to answer questions and provide more information.
