The vacancy was created due to a reorganization of the Board that included an increase of one director in the Charlottetown District and the elimination of a cream producer representative.

Mr. Week’s term in office is effective immediately, and it will conclude at the end of March 2007.

Dairy Farmers of Prince Edward Island is a producer-funded commodity board formed under the Natural Products Marketing Act to regulate and control the marketing of milk in Prince Edward Island. The Board is comprised of nine active registered dairy producers.
