LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR TO TOUR HERITAGE SITES

Lieutenant Governor's Office

Lieutenant Governor J. Léonce Bernard will begin a series of tours across the Province in early July visiting various heritage sites. Three distinct two-day tours have been arranged, in conjunction with the PEI Museum & Heritage Foundation, that will provide brief glimpses of the many museums and other points of interest that so clearly define our heritage.

“Prince Edward Islanders are proud of their history and culture. We have so much to offer in our province and these tours will provide a first hand account of the excellent interpretive displays, local products and informed personnel that culminate to provide our residents and tourists with the total Prince Edward Island experience. I very much look forward to touring the Island and meeting the ambassadors who make Prince Edward Island the perfect summer destination,” said the Lieutenant Governor.

Additional releases will be sent out identifying the planned stops for each tour.
