Three Island Courses Ranked in Top 100

Tourism

Score Golf Magazine, a pre-eminent Canadian golf publication, has designated Prince Edward Island’s three courses, The Links at Crowbush Cove, Dundarave and Brudenell River, in the top 100 courses in Canada. The courses shared some of the Island’s glory with Rodd Crowbush Golf and Beach Resort which was designated number 2 in the “Best Golf Resort” category, second only to Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, a formidable competitor.

Not only did we capture this most prestigious title but we achieved awards in other categories as well, including Best Condition (Dundarave) and Best Pace of Play at a Public Course (Crowbush).

“The results are noted with a great deal of pride,” said Minister of Tourism, Philip Brown. “To be designated with such high esteem proves that we are succeeding in the golf market. The customer is the most important judge of any golf course and these rankings are evidence that we are making the right impact.”

Ratings for the courses – The Links at Crowbush Cove, number 3 public course; Dundarave, number 43; and Brudenell, number 85 in the top 100 – makes Prince Edward Island one of the most desirable golf destinations for readers of the popular Canadian publication. Visitors who plan their vacation to include a stay at Score’s recommended Rodd Crowbush Golf and Beach Resort, and include a game at The Links at Crowbush Cove, have created the perfect golf experience. Rated number two and number three, respectively, it’s hard to beat.

“Rodd Crowbush Golf and Beach Resort has established itself as the flagship of Rodd Hotels and Resorts, and now has achieved the same for eastern Canada,” states John Cudmore, President & COO. “An accolade of #1 resort east of Alberta is a designation that goes much farther than our company, but gives further bragging rights to Prince Edward Island’s tourism and golf industry.”
