LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR ANNOUNCES ‘STUDENT AIDE-DE-CAMP’ PROGRAM

Honourable Barbara A. Hagerman, Lieutenant Governor of Prince Edward Island, has announced a new initiative, “Student Aide-de-Camp.”

She is shown with Corporal Alex Hughes (Air Cadets), the first student to act in this capacity during her visit to Stonepark Intermediate School on Music Monday, May 7, 2007. Later the same day, Cassandra MacDonald served as Student Aide-de-Camp during the Lieutenant Governor’s visit to St. Jean Elementary School.

During her term as Lieutenant Governor, Her Honour will continue this program for students in schools across the province. She hopes this new initiative will “help students make a connection between young people and the Office of Lieutenant Governor”.
