Attorney General Congratulations R.C.M.P. Commanding Officer Randy Robar

Office of the Attorney General

Attorney General Mildred Dover today issued a congratulatory message to RCMP “L” Division Commanding Officer Randy Robar, who was invested as an Officer in the Order of Merit of the Police Forces this morning at Rideau Hall in Ottawa.

The Order of Merit of the Police Forces was created in October 2000 to recognize conspicuous merit and exceptional service by members and employees of the Canadian police forces whose contributions extend beyond protection of the community.

“I offer my sincere congratulations to C/Supt. Randy Robar, who has earned the right to use the post-nominal letters O.O.M.,” said Attorney General Mildred Dover. “He is most deserving of this distinguished award, which recognizes his outstanding service to our country and our province. I have been honored to work closely with CO Robar in our shared mandate to prevent crime and provide an environment where Islanders can feel safe and secure.”
