New Lieutenant Governor’s Choral Award Presented

Through their annual performances of classic choral repertoire, the Confederation Singers have been part of the music scene on Prince Edward Island for many years. Her Honour, the Honourable Barbara Hagerman, Lieutenant Governor of Prince Edward Island, has recognized their contribution with the establishment of a new award, named the “Lieutenant Governor’s Choral Award,” to be given annually to one of the singers.

Recently, members of the choir were invited to a reception at Fanningbank where the award was presented, for the first time, to Lois MacLaren in recognition of her outstanding dedication to the choir.
