New buffer zone regulations are making it simpler than ever for landowners to know where to plant crops and where to let undisturbed vegetation protect valuable watercourses and wetlands.

By making rules clearer, stronger and easier to understand, the government of Prince Edward Island is working to make sure our rural landscape can be productive while our streams and rivers remain clean and healthy.

Information on Prince Edward Island’s new buffer zone regulations is available at www.gov.pe.ca/go/bufferzones.
