Souris Influenza Assessment Site closed from Friday, November 12 onward

The Public is advised that the Souris Influenza assessment site at the Souris Hospital will be closed after Thursday, November 12. A decision was made to close the assessment site due to low numbers of people arriving to the site.

Kings County residents who are experiencing influenza-like symptoms are asked to go to the walk-in clinic at the Eastern Kings Family Health Centre in Souris or the Emergency Department at Kings County Memorial Hospital. Regular hours of the walk-in clinic in Souris are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. schedule on Saturdays and Sundays. The Emergency Department in Montague is open from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. each day.

The situation in Kings County will be monitored and the assessment site in Souris will be reactivated if the need arises.
