Update on Flu Assessment Sites Across Province

The Public is advised that the flu assessment site located at Four Neighborhoods Family Health Centre in Charlottetown will be closed after 8 p.m. on Friday due to the low number of patients presenting at the Centre. This now means that influenza assessment sites in Charlottetown, Souris and O’Leary have been closed.
Those experiencing flu-like symptoms in any of these communities should visit a walk-in clinic in their area, their family doctor or the nearest emergency room.
The remaining flu assessment site located at the Harbourside Family Health Centre in Summerside will operate this weekend from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The H1N1 situation across the province will be monitored and the assessment sites which have closed will be reactivated if the need arises.
