Changes to the Main Entrance at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital

Health

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital is advising the general public that, effective December 15, there will be changes in traffic flow access to the main entrance of the hospital in order to accommodate ongoing site preparation for the new Ambulatory Care Centre. To ensure the public has continuous pedestrian access to the main entrance during this time, a temporary covered entrance is being constructed. A new vehicle drop-off / pick-up area will be located in front of the temporary entrance once it has been completed in late January 2010.

Until the temporary entrance has been completed, resources will be available for persons who require additional assistance getting to and from the main hospital entrance.

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital would like to thank the public for their patience and understanding as it continues to improve the provision of health care services for all Islanders.
